As markets mature, so do consumers’ consumption habits. This is what has driven the expansion of the availability of 1-gram vape carts in Illinois. Consumers are reaching for more robust and longer-lasting options. Stiiizy has entered this blossoming market with not only 1-gram pods for its battery system but also an all-in-one disposable 1-gram option. I recently stopped into Consume Marion and picked up a Stiiizy Watermelon Z 1-gram disposable to review.
Watermelon Z is distillate oil blended with botanical terpenes. This vape tested at 79.75% THC and 84.68% total cannabinoids
The Stiiizy 1g disposable took advantage of the companies existing design philosophy as the vape was a physical copy of the brands battery and pod system with the pod simply pre-attached. Just taller than a standard Bic lighter and half as thick with no buttons and a standard USB charge port at the bottom, the easy-to-use, hit-to-activate mechanism was the same as all Stiiizy vapes.
The flavor was a very sweet, artificial watermelon note straight through and reminiscent of a pink Jolly Rancher. The entire profile was extremely sweet, so much so that the vapor even smelled more like candy than any kind of cannabis product. The Stiiizy hardware allowed for much more robust hits than most disposables and pushing the vape to the limit created a dense cloud that coated my palate for a long time post exhale.
Stiiizy labeled the Watermelon Z vape indica but the effect profile struck a center-spectrum hybrid chord. A couple strong pulls instantly calmed my mind and helped me focus on the task at hand. My energy levels remained steady but pulses of euphoric tingles started to move throughout my body. The focus boost remained with me throughout the experience, and I returned several times to the Watermelon Z simply for the clarity of mind provided.
As with most distillate-based products, my one complaint was the short-lived duration of the effect profile. Overall, consumers looking for a calming vape with a supremely sweet flavor will be well served. For more Illinois News Joint reviews, visit here.
