The Cannabis Science Center at Southern Illinois University Carbondale has set a date for its 4th annual Hemp/Cannabis Symposium. The Cannabis Science Center invites all indoor production enthusiasts and professionals to the 2023 symposium that is themed “Controlled Environment Agriculture.”
The Hemp/Cannabis Symposium is set for Sept. 9 at the SIUC Student Center Auditorium and International Lounge (1255 Lincoln Drive). Check-in and continental breakfast begins at 8 a.m., and the presentations run from 9:15 a.m.-4 p.m. with short breaks and a 1-hour lunch. Student researchers from SIUC also will present posters summarizing their work. See the full schedule here.

The panel of presenters will discuss cultivation laws, cloning, plant propagation, genetics, optimizing growing conditions, alternative production techniques, product quality, testing, light environment, aeroponics, and more.
