Infused prerolls offer a stronger experience than the standard flower joint. Multipacks of mini-prerolls offer the convenience of quick and easy dosing. It’s the intersection of these qualities many cultivators are targeting with infused multipacks. Front Porch, a label from Progressive Treatment Solutions, offers an indica-leaning Moonlight version of its infused prerolls as a 2.5-gram pack, so I stopped at Consume Marion and picked up a sample to review.
These prerolls come as five 0.5-gram distillate infused prerolls. This pack tested at 0.32% CBG, 2.47% CBGa, 0.13% CBDa, 2.51% Delta 9 THC, 46.54% THCa, and 51.97% total cannabinoids. Terpenes were 1.1% of the total weight with β-caryophyllene, linalool, and α-bisabolol being the most prevalent.
These shorty prerolls were well protected in individual plastic slots inside a metal tin. Black pepper, green tea, and hints of mint were detected with a dry pull while the preroll had an earthy aroma to the nose. Each of the prerolls burned quickly, almost too small to burn unevenly. The black pepper stood out on the palate, becoming stronger as the joint burned down, while the earth and green tea flavor appeared at the top end but disappeared quickly.
The Moonlight infused prerolls were fast acting, inducing a strong pressure around my eyes as the joint finished. My energy levels quickly plummeted, and my mind was covered in a fog that made my train of thought difficult to follow. The sensation in my eyes spread into my body, becoming a heavy blanket of pressure.
Similar to most distillate infused prerolls, the effects of these joints peaked quickly before falling off at the forty-five minute mark. I enjoyed these most as a nightcap, a little push over the mark that could get me down to sleep. For more Illinois News Joint reviews, visit here.
