Hemp milk is a drink made from hemp seeds that is becoming more and more popular. All thanks to its great nutritional values.
Hemp milk has a fresh taste with clear nutty and sunflower hints. Due to its properties, it is often used as a substitute for soy milk. It can be added to coffee, tea, as a base for cocoa, or for making cocktails. They can also be eaten pure, as an addition to cereal or porridge, or used in the kitchen to prepare e.g. puddings or pancake or pastry dough. Hemp milk does not contain lactose, so it can be safely used as a substitute for people with intolerance to this sugar. It is also suitable for vegans. Its availability in stores is small, but it is very simple and quick to make, so you can easily make it at home.
