In the last 30 days, more than 70 flower brands and 2,100 products were for sale.
In the last 90 days (from June), the average price for 3.5g of flower in Illinois was $53.96, compared to the Unites States average of $37.31. Prices came down slightly, from 1.6%-5.4%, with the prices of 28g products dropping the most at 14.4%. The top-five flower products in Illinois dispensaries included 1) Ozone’s Cinnamon Buddha 2) Rythm’s White Durbin 3) Grassroots’ Loti Dotti, Ozone’s MAC #1, and Rythm’s Jack Herer. The top five strains included 1) MAC #1, 2) Apple Friter, 3) Banan Daddy 4) Cinnamon Buddha, and 5) Gelato.
Vape products are the #2 product category in Illinois, comprising 26.7% of the total products on dispensary shelves. In the last 30 days, there were more than 90 vape brands and 2,400 products for sale. Verano, Cresco, and Good News were the top-three vape brands in stores. Good News brand topped all five products in stores, including Me Time, Friyay, Day Off, Vegas, and Brunch. The top-five vape strains included Blue Dream, Northern Lights, Pineapple Express, Me Time, and Blueberry.
Preroll products are the #3 product category in Illinois, comprising 13.8% of the total products on dispensary shelves. In the last 30 days, more than 90 preroll brands and 1,500 products were for sale. The top-three prerolls brands in stores were Dogwalkers, Ozone, and Verano. Top-five preroll products included 1) 93 Boys’ Jet Fuel 2) Dogwalkers’ Sour Diesel 3) Dogwalkers’ Head Cracker 4) Ozone’s Butterstuff and 5) Dogwalkers’ Brownie Scout. Top-five strains included Head Cracker, Brownie Scout, Sour Diesel, Ice Cream Cake, and Jet Fuel.
Concentrate products are the #4 product category in Illinois, comprising 11.8% of the total products on dispensary shelves. In the last 30 days, more than 50 concentrate brands and 1,400 products were for sale. The top-three concentrate brands in stores were Aerīz, Cresco, and Revolution. Aerīz swept the top-five concentrate products in stores with its Jenny Kush, Rainbowz, Jack Herer, Jokerz, and Berriez strains. Top-five strains in stores included Jenny Kush, Durban Poison, Rainbowz, Potus Berriez, and Banana Pudding.
The last four categories include Gummies & Chews, Edibles, Wellness, and Beverage, and are #5, #6, #7 product category in Illinois, respectively. Gummies And Chews comprised 10.7% of the total products on dispensary shelves. In the last 30 days, there were more than 50 gummies and chews brands and 580 products for sale in more than 1 store. Edibles products comprised 4.6% of the total products on dispensary shelves. More than 50 edibles brands and 370 products were for sale. Wellness products comprised 3.3% of the total products on dispensary shelves. More than 30 wellness brands and 270 products were for sale. Beverage products comprised 2% of the total products on dispensary shelves. More than 10 beverage brands and 130 products were for sale.
