This year, I’ve been exploring more minor cannabinoid-enhanced products than ever before. While I’ve sampled items with different rations of CBD, CBG, and CBN, I’ve yet to review anything focused on cannabichromene, or CBC. That was what caught my attention about Wyld’s Blood Orange 1:1 THC:CBC gummies.
Wyld Blood Orange 1:1 THC:CBC gummies come as a 10 pack of gummies, each with 10 mg of THC and 10 mg of CBC. The ingredients are sugar, tapioca syrup, water, blood orange juice concentrate, gelatin, natural flavoring, coconut oil, citric acid, malic acid, pectin (pectin, sodium citrate), cannabis extract, hemp extract, sunflower lecithin, terpenes (limonene, valencene, beta-caryophyllene, alpha pinene, beta pinene)
Small orange squares encrusted with white sugar filled the jar. The texture was the familiar Wyld squishiness, just slightly softer than a standard candy aisle gummy bear. The real fruit flavoring really came through in the Blood Orange, and while there was some initial sweetness, it was quickly cut by the tang of fresh blood orange, a sort of tart middle ground between clementine and grapefruit.
These gummies worked quickly, inducing a sense of openness and clarity that widened my awareness without boosting my energy. Physically, the experience was limited to some light inflammation and pain relief in my back and joints. The intoxicating sensation of the THC was balanced well by the CBC making for an edible that could fit anywhere in my schedule, even at high doses.
Overall, I enjoyed the natural blood-orange flavor while the open and aware mental profile left me interested in further CBC exploration. For more Illinois News Joint reviews, visit here.
