Georgia Pie was the first Cookies-labeled strain I took notice of, and it’s the one I associate most with the branding conglomerate. That was why I was interested in Revolution Cannabis’ new drop of the cultivar. I headed up to Enlightened Mount Prospect to pick up a sample.
Georgia Pie is a hybrid cross of Gellati and Kush Mints, originally bred by Seed Junky Genetics. This batch of flower tested at 0.64% THC, 25.94% THCa, and 27.35% total cannabinoids. The indicated terpenes were β-caryophyllene, limonene, α-humulene, linalool, and α-pinene

Three chunky pointed flowers carried a deep-green-base tone underneath loose fire-orange hairs and a generous trichome frost that was just at the start of the transition from milky to amber. These nugs were dense, but the breakdown revealed freshness, leaving a tacky stickiness on my fingers.
The scent from the jar was faint, a rounded blend of forest-floor earth on the front and a lightly roasted nutty-dough finish. A run through the grinder punched up the doughiness, but the ground flower was just as light as the jar aroma. Considerable exploration unveiled notes of earth and unsweet dough with hints of stone fruit near the finish. Georgia Pie induced a true middle-ground hybrid experience. The mental aspect opened the experience with a small lift in both mood and energy, combined with an anxiety free headspace that allowed me to think clearly, although I was prone to distraction.
